When I crank the car up, it turns over and over and over until I give it a little gas and it usually fires up. It used to fire up with no problem (especially without a touch of the gas since it is fuel injected)
It was running poorly just going down the road, it felt like I was running out of gas at any fuel level. When I took it to the dealership, of course it didn't act up, but they did fix the oil leak from the lower manifold which was under warranty. Now it doesn't stall when I come to a stop or feel like it is running out of gas while going down the road, it is just kinda hard to start.
Any ideas of what might be the problem? Thanks for the help.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what the pressure is when you turn the ignition on but don't start the car. You probably already know this, but you shouldn't have to touch the gas pedal at all on fuel injected cars to get them started.
I would check the fuel pressure after the car is shut off. Put a fuel pressure guage on it, run it, then shut it off and watch the guage. It should hold the pressure up for awhile. If the pressure drops off rather quickly then you either have a leaky injector that is dripping down into the intake or a bad check valve in the fuel pump that is letting the pressure off back into the fuel tank. You can determing which case you have by clamping off the return fuel line to the tank and see if that stops the pressure from dropping off. If it does then the check valve is going. If it still drops off with the line clamped off then I would suspect a leaky injector.
