Wiper problem # 2
First things first..... Merry Christmas to everyone!
Now, .... I have changed the wiper motor, wiper switch, wiper electronic cap, wiper park netural switch and I am still having problems. When I turn on the wipers, they cycle in and out of park, only moving about an inch. The delay controls do not work at all. Some times, when I hit a bump, the system all of a sudden works! I suspect maybe a ground problem. Has anyone ever experienced this condition? If you have, how did you fix it?
I have a feeling that my 85 Vette is the only car plaged with this problem!! :mad :chevy

you say that you replaced the motor and it still does it? i replaced the motor and it fixed that exact problem. When i came to stoplights it all of the sudden worked and never when i was at speed. Have you checked the fuses? If its not the fuse, it has to be a wiring problem. Let me know how that works out.
