Light weight battery install done.
Also for an update, I learned that Deka makes the battery and charges much less.

If your car is stick shift, I think you would be good to go with one of these.
Why? because you can always bump start the car if you need to.
Any negatives to using one of these? I have a Viper alarm, Mezierre EWP, two pillar gauges, and a bottle warmer used occasionally. I also have a cam installed. Info on the rear isntall?
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I used it in my 1988 Conquest TSI.
It's a great battery, but does not have much of a reserve.
If your car starts easy, you shouldn't have any issues unless you leave the doors open or run a stereo for a while.
I had an intercooler hose blow off which flooded out the car.
I didn't have enough reserve to get the fuel cleared out and start the car.
That was an annoying day.
The battery did not work well for me in the winter.
If it was cold out, my car would barely turn over at the end of a work day sitting outside.
Sometimes, I needed a jump.
My solution was to use a regular battery during the winter months.
I suppose one of those potable jump starter boxes would be good to have as a back-up.
It's good to now know about Deka being the same battery.
Braille offers various brackets and accessories.

You could buy the battery from Deka and the mount or bracket from Braille.

I can really notice the weight reduction in braking zones!

Very similar battery to the original, made by Deka/East Penn. Same size but fits backwards. Costs less!
