Are you sure it is the motor and not the ribbon? Most people upgrade to the newer style mechanism when they go bad(and they will).

Spend a few bucks and get the newer style. Corvette Recyclers(forum vendor) has the regs for $99 a side.
Happy I replaced mine before they broke.

It is usually the ribbon, not the motor. Not sure about the number of teeth, I can say I have never seen anyone replace a motor on the ribbon style, if the motor is really gone, it makes more sense to just upgrade. It is a harder question if it is the ribbon because they are pretty cheap.

I'm pretty sure you can't replace just the motor. Am I wrong? I just did both regs and the motors are riveted into the regulators.

If you only need a ribbon, I'll give you one for the cost of shipping.

Agent, PS - been meaning to say thanks for the links to Corvette Recycling a while back. I put in 2 new regs and outer window wipes - great prices!
