Changing spark wires
hey, i apologize if this is a dumb question but, when i bought my vette it had 8mm MSD wires on it, i'm im looking to put on 8.5mm wires....will this affect my timing at all? thanks in advance

axesols03...go w your project!
8.5mm wires are perfectly OK....mine were installed under shorty headers sans the original dividers w plenty of clearance...have 8k miles on w no problems. Go w your project as planned obtaining 8.5mm dividers is NBD.

im changing because 2 of them where touching against headers and have a few burn spots in the rubber installation. They look old and i dont know when the plugs where put on, i have some extra cash and time right now so id like the peace of mind of knowing i have new plugs and wires, thanks for your input
