We went to our local Chevrolet Dealer (Miles Chevrolet) and ask them to help form our club. They looked up in their data base of car sales and parts for Corvette people. They provide us a meeting room each month, help pay for costs of setup work for t-shirts and embroider work, they pay postage for mailings, they help with car shows. Just ask them.
We,the Corvette Club of Delaware Valley, are lucky in having Bryner Chevorlet in Jenkintown, PA., as one of our sponsers. Aside from the advertising during our show dates and in our Newsletter, The Gas Cap, a lot of our members use them for service on our Vettes as they have some of the best techs in the area. The techs are occasional speakers at are meetings and are on hand during our show "The Cavalcade of Corvettes" to answer any question about the new cars that the dealership has on display. The owner of the dealership, Chuck Peterson, also has a big hand in the Phila. Auto Show(Jan.5-13,2002). The Club gets to display some of our cars as an attraction and diversion from the new models that are being displayed. The Club also has charities that we support and the dealership gets exposure through those endeavors. I think as long as your Club can provide the sponser with a positive image and let people know who they, the sponsers are, they would be willing to help. Good Luck in your search.
We at Mason Dixon Corvette Club have the local Chevrolet dealer in Hagerston Maryland as our sponser. They give us 25% off on all parts and service. I think that is a great deal.
