Default This Weeks projects...beginning pics

Finally got my motor back from the shop a couple weeks ago nd now I have some time to work on getting the car back up and running. Here are few shots of my heads in progress of cleaning up my valve guides after getting new guides put in prepping them for the solid roller cam.

Hopefully I can get the heads all done and get the block back in the car this week. Should have it up and running in the next few weeks. :D

Looks good! That looks like a nice new garage floor too! I remember the first month in my new house I put a motor in my car.... good way to 'break in' the garage!

Hey, how is Thursday or Friday looking for the u-joints? Looks to be warm and sunny either day...

Looks good...but at least blend the bowls if you want to see a difference.
Stay away from the runner walls...except to gasket match the ports.

Craig, anytime is fine. Gotta run and pick back up one of my heads that I dropped off to have flowed, but other than that I will be in the garage trying to sort out all my parts ;). Shoot me an email if you don't have my number.

BBA, The heads are already done over. Just cleaning up the guides where they pressed the new ones in a little far. :)

Did a little more work on some other things too... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=207412

I don't think I've got your number.... I've still got to run and pick up the parts in the morning. I may just try to do them here, don't know yet. I can just pull the shafts and have a shop down the road press them in for a few dollars since I don't have a press. It's quite a drive to your house from here! Wouldn't mind getting a look at all the new stuff for the blue car though. I'll try to let you know if I think I'll try to make it out.

No big deal if you don't come and do it at my house. You won't hurt any feelings. I know how precious time is when your on vacation and that drive is not a small one...I could probably drive all the way through Rhode Island in the same amount of time. ;)

I sent you an IM with the number just in case you need it.
