Default LT4 Smooth Air Induction

Does anyone know the telephone number or web site for Racer's Edge? In the March issue of Vette magazine on page 61 there is a LT4 Vette with a Smooth Air induction System that connects the throttle body to the air box.I have seen this for the C5 in several catalogs, but not for the LT4.
Thanks, Louis Bartay

I have this on my LT1. I think Eckler's carries this item. I don't know if there is any difference in the intake tubing for the LT4. I think they are the same. It looks much better than the stock setup, but I doubt you will notice much performance difference.

Louis, I think that is actually a Samco coupler and i found it on
www.lingenfelter.com . The site says 90-95 LT-1, I would guess that it would work on the 96 too...I saw that in the magazine and thought it looked like getting. If you find out that it does work on the 96...let me know, I need to start catching up with you. :D

Hi Slowbusa,
I will look again in my Eckler's I saw the C5 but not the C4 and I think you are correct about the LT1 and the LT4 on this item. Do you have a Hayabusa? I use to be the Sales Mgr. at D&D Performance Exhaust, and I drag race a 1998 Zx9 Kawasaki, and my best friend has a 2000 Busa that we play with at the Texas Motor Plex 1/4 mile.
Regards, Louis

Yes, I do have a 'Busa. It is a 2000 Blue&Silver. It is a great bike. Rip first and it feels like it is going to jump out from under you. I would like to eventually get a turbo kit for the bike, and get rear wheel horsepower up around 300. The intake piping was called the Air Blaster. I don't have a current catalog, so I can't say whether they still stock the item. I think the price was $159?.

Hi Slowbusa,
Have you loked at http://www.labusas.org as my friend found some better maps for his Power Commander. We cut out the bottom of the air box and changed the stacks and added a K&N to the D&D exhaust system and added two teeth to the rear sprocket and did the clutch fix and man does this Bad Busa run HARD. First gear either stands the bike straight up or smokes the tire (wheelie bar time)

Hi Louis, I used to go to LaBusas until I found this other site http://www.suzukihayabusa.org. If he really wants some performance help this is the place to go. The creator of the board is named Dennis(aka MOTORHEAD). He is considered by most to be the best "Busa mechanic around. All I have done is install some Two Bros. carbon fiber slip-ons, but look forward to more mods in the future.:yesnod:
