Default opti ?

I just got a newopti fom thepartsladi, it came in a Delphi box. But, it was repacked with newspapers.
My question is, how do you tell it is a Delphi opti?

It has no markings on it and has some white smudges(4) that might have been a name or something.

I have used thepartsladi for many replacement OEM parts. I think I used them when I replaced an Opti in a '95 I had. Anyway, they are so adament on their website about their Opti's being the real OEM deal, I would call them immediately and see what they have to say about the re-packaging !!! That doe's sound fishy....and the smudge marks.....Call'em up. That's what I would do if I suspected a "bait & switch". These dang Opti's 'aint cheap !!

Keep us posted

You guys slay me you're too paranoid. It was a sealed Delphi box. Delphi is a well known GM spin off of it's parts subsidary. The last OEM opti I saw in a box was packed with newspaper. Gm ships parts to the factory(and SPOs) in large molded racks not individual boxes. There they individually send them out to dealers and vendors. Thepartsladi is a very well know OEM parts supplier and if it is not OEM they list it as such. Go ahead and call.

Not paranoid, just wondering why there was not a part nbr and manufacturer. Never seen a Delphi part, without a part nbr.
