Default ITB thread

There was a thread maybe 6 months ago I remember reading about some guy from Australia who used individual throttle bodies on his c-4, was praising them and quoting a cost of around 1k for the setup.

I searched the forums for a few hours last night and was not able to come across the thread again, I could only come up with a few threads with people talking about new itb offerings, mostly costing 3-4k.

anyone book mark the thread?
thanks,
Mike

What's the benefit of individual TBs? Hell, you could almost get a new long-block 406 SBC for $4k...

1000 AUD is about $972 USD right now. 5 years ago, it was about $500 USD, but that's another story.

That was it, thanks! I guess I have selective memory on the whole "price" thing...

If you want to try a set up like this you can convert Hilborn mechanical fuel injection over to EFI with some determination. Just to be warned, we use the Hilborn stuff on outlaw sprint car engines so it can be found fairly cheap ($1000 or so) but it is geared towards serious output. That said, it can be done and if you're in the 500+ hp range there's nothing that even comes close...oh and you will need some additional hood clearance to run longer tubes but you can get enough with a simple cowl.

Emo-vet (glen or shae) reappears every few months on this forum with a different user name (until he gets banned). He is quite a character. He posts on another forum with a different name. His latest scheme is installing Lambo doors. IMHO, he has never owned a Corvette.
