This is an oldie that I made several years back that I recently re-found.... a few of may have already seen this, but I figured some of the new members might like it.......

btw, that is not detonation you hear going down the track.... its wind or something, but wasn't detonation.

Thanks.... was a fun set-up for many years.
If you like in-car dragstrip video's, have a look at this one..... its great !! Albeit, it is a Mustang, once you get over that.... you'll love it.

The stang videos was pretty cool as well, but the hood and sky launch was a little too short for me! LOL.
I am used to a little more. 
An in car video is something I have been meaning to do for quite a while. You may have just provided my next little shop project. (camera mount).

I don't know why, but I really like that Mustang video, gets the blood going or something... I believe the pilot of the Mustang is Evan Smith, the hotshoe driver on the east coast that does a lot of the auto testing for a few publications like GM High Tech Performance and I think a few others..... but not positive anymore. I believe that is a stock eliminator class, so you know the guy can get down the track ! I could be wrong, but I think that is the guy to drive one of the first 385 HP Z06's into the 11's bone stock including the rubber..... thats fairly impressive I think.
Yeah, you should "definitely" do one, that would be a wild video to ride along with..... let me know after you've done it !! If nothing else, we'll see what the clouds look like in Pennsylvania
....
