Default L98 intake bolts

Question to the folks here, can bolts other than the Torx head bolts be used as a replacement and if so, does anyone know the size off hand. I'm replacing the intake gaskets and the bolts don't look so good!

Thanks
Den

Personally, I would recommend using torx, but it's up to you. The torx bolts are designed to be more difficult to strip the heads. Go to you local hardware store and they'll get you squared away.

I replaced mine with torx bolts from Jegs, they're stronger than the originals and have a deeper hole so they're not likely to strip out as easily.

Summit has a set. I used 12 point bolts, 3/8-16. They're pretty cheap, like $12. I'm sure you can find similar sets at most automotive supplies.

ARP's are the best, but I used grade 8 bolts from the hardware store with no problems.
