Quick wiring Question

I am in the middle of hardwiring my radar detector to my rearview mirror lights and need to know how to determine which of the three wires do I connect the ground and power to.

For power you should be able to find a Pink wire with Black stripe. This wire is hot when the key is in on. To ground it, tap into a black wire. :)

Scorp508, All three wires have black shields...? They are connected together side by side like an electrical power cord only there are three together. power

Hmm.... the 3rd wire is probably grey (somewhere), and it activates the small lamp on the bottom for when your lights are on to illuminate the center console.

If you aren't able to find any color anywhere, you might have to just toss a voltometer on and see what wires do what when the key is on. The one that does nothing would be ground.

I don't know the order from left to right on the clip itself.
