Dana 36 posi problem??
I recently purchased a 3.07 pumpkin from an 84 with 60,000 miles to replace my 2.59.
I noticed it had what I can only describe as a clip shaped like a lazy M.
which is loose to touch and although it does not come off ,it slides about 1/8th inch backwards and forwards towards the centre of the posi,is this normal??.(one clip is looser than the other.
Looks like it secures the side gear both sides in the posi ..
Also the outside of the pumkin is very dirty,indication the seals are stuffed??
