I was going to place my solenoids behind the passenger wheel well but it would require a 4 ft. line from the noid to the plate. I have read that longer then 24" inches could cause a lean spike because the fuel takes longer to spray. For those running longer lines have you had any problems.
My noids are under my battery (basically the same place you want to put yours, only on the other side of the car) and I don't have any issues. I'm only spraying a 150 shot though, if you are shooting more you might have a problem.
I have an in car wideband, and it doesn't register a lean spike when the N20 comes on. I've also dyno'd the car on the bottle and not seen a lean spike in the A/F ratio. I'm sure it's happening to some degree, but it must be pretty minor to not register on either air/fuel ratio meter.
