Synth runs hotter?

Synth runs hotter?
I had my oil changed (got a free Mobile one coupon at our car show) a little while back. I noticed it ran a few degrees hotter than when I took it out afterwards. I have run it for a while now and see 2-5 degrees hotter temps than before. I believe it had dino oil in it when I got it (had a penzoil sticker on the window) does anyone know if dino oil runs cooler than synth?

On my motorcycle, oil temp dropped when I changed to synthetic (amsoil) by about 15 degrees. When I changed to syn on the vette, I saw no real difference, maybe 2-3 degrees cooler. Not hotter on either.

Nothing to worry about. The Mobil-1 will clean out the sludge left behind by the dino, you might have to change to 10w-30 Mobil-1 to keep the pressure up.
