84 arm rest install
Finally got around to installing the door panels that came in the trunk of my 84 when I bought it. Problem is there was just a bucket of bolts and nuts that came with them. Not sure what goes where. There are four metal rectangles, about 1.25 x .75 inches with a hole in them that I assume go where the two bolts go through the arm rest. I cannot figure out what two bolts go through the arm rest and how they attach to the metal bracket that comes off the door. Any bolt I have tried that will fit through the arm rest holes is too small to screw into the metal bracket. Does it take a bolt and you have to reach up from the bottom to put a nut on it, or is there supposed to be a clip on that bracket that I am missing? Would much rather fix it right than trying to rig something.
