Sound coming from #8 area
First it was barely audible, know it is getting worse. Sounds almost like a thumping sound, I had a exhaust leak back there after I put headers on.
Could it be a burnt valve and the pushrod is knocking into the rocker?

Never thought about stethescope,I will go get 1.
Cant do a compression test really weel, car has 175k miles and last time I checked, the compression was not to good on nbr 8.
Just thought about that, it the valve is stuck open a test would show that.
