The only bitch is the number 8 plug which I ended up making a special wrench to get it in and out.
I asked the seller to measure them and get back to me. I'm gonna sleep on it.

Basically, moral of the story is no matter what header I buy I'll sandblast, weld ball/socket flanges, send out to get ceramic coated inside/out. I'm set on having a local shop ceramic coat them as both hooker + hedman told me their coating is outside only and will flake off, and Jethot wants too much money and a 5 week turn around.

I'm pretty much set on the flowmaster ball/socket flanges, as I've used them in the past with success. Better than 3-bolt flanges, and slip flanges are absolutely a nightmare after being together for a few months

So, by getting these used headers over a set of new hooker 2151s I'd save $265. Is $265 worth harder install + plug access? Good question.

I had hookers before (2149) and they basically fall in and out of the engine bay, so I'm going on what you guys with LPE's tell me as far as these headers go.

I should have kept my hookers and just had them reocoated, but I got upset that after a year the coating was flaking off and the floor was getting stupid hot so I sold them to a forum member for about 1/3 retail. Ahhh silly me.

Thanks guys.. I appreciate all the responses.

Well if you do get them,if I remember correctly,I pulled the plugs to save cracking them and fitted them from the bottom up and they slid in pretty easily.I'd just pulled and rebuilt the motor so after getting everything back together it wouldn't start. That's how I know the starter goes in and out!!

Your TPIS headers are 1 3/4" ? In the car or out already?

Look weird. Thinking of buying them from a forum member. He has no idea what they are or the primary size.

The thing I notice is the those LONNNNGGGG scape marks on the bottom tubes.

Ground clearance is a real issue with Vette headers. Lots of moaning and groaning.

Also, I guess that may be why the is not bolt on connections???

Something else to give you a headache.

I don't think that's much of a problem unless maybe if your car is lowered. Slip on extentions are offered, and preferred by many.
