Just ohmed injectors cold... all 11.9 to 12.0 ohms. Then tested hot 7 were 12.7 to 12.8, except 1 was 4.2. Can i just replace the bad one or best to do all 8?

You can replace just 1. At least then you will have 1 new injector.

Haha. While that is true, if 1 is bad, the 7 others are probably on their last leg too. Plus, injectors are the sort of thing where you want 8 identical ones. 1 new injector will definitely not flow identically to the old 7, and a new injector isn't much more than getting old ones serviced. I'd get new ones...
One bad spark plug wire ...... would you just change that bad plug wire when all have the same age?
No.
I look at injectors as a major tune up vs. a minor.
Go all 8, all balanced equally.
That equal balance is a key that so many people overlook on vehicles equipped with multiple injectors...many problems arise from injectors playing out one at a time.
Get some des.III from Jon and dont look back...because there will be people trying to catch up to you!
