I am running hot, why?
I was on Woodward last night stuck in the Dream Cruise traffic. This is the first time I have been in stop and go traffic since I bought the car. It didnt over heat but was well over the half way mark and getting near the 260 mark. The electric fans were running but it still seemed to be too hot. Is this normal in a 1991.
I am going to flush but should I consider a cooler t-stat?

and hose down the radiator and condensor from underneath the car, just like everyone does on there home AC units.Are you having an unusually hot summer up there in Michigan ? With hotter outside temperatures, heat transfer rate is dimished between the radiator and atmoshere.
