Shuddering Acceleration Problem
My 87 threw a code 34 and my mechanic replaced both MAF relays. The code disappeared, but it still exhibits a peculiar shuddering during acceleration with bumpier idle. No new codes either. My mechanic's diagnosis is that the injectors need replaced, which sound like the proper diagnosis. But before committing to this, is there any other potential sources of this shuddering. Being that the fuel injectors are original, it does make sense to replace them and I will, but just want to cover any other possibilities.

He may be right, but you should check them first. See the sticky at the top of the page about injectors...it'll guide you through checkin' them.
If you do need injectors, buy them from Jon, he's the best!
