just wanted to post some pics of the cage and chassie work thats been done to the vette, the car is now 8.5 cert and i should have no problem running the car on kill with all she got
That is a really cool cage. I am wanting to put a cage in my car really soon. Would you mind if I stole a ton of your ideas, and worked up a CAD Drawing of it? Then send it to you to see how close I am?
Do you think you will be able to put the stock dash back in with some cutting. I want to run the stock interior, and I want to have swing out bars at the door.
Awesome!!!
Look at those meats on the back!
What size tires are those?
Is it mild steel or chrome-moly? *Edit: n/m, just saw the 4130 printed on the tubing.
Love the motor plates!
Love the rims!
Looks way better than mine.
everythink on this car is chrome-moly, the tires are 29.5 - 10.5 on a 12 inch rim. the fronts are 27.5 tall, the car sits a little lower in the back from what u see in the pics, hope to have it all done and painted in few weeks

yeah man no problem, let me know if you need help, and yes the stock dash will go back in the car, i have some pics of how it looks, ill post them if i can find some
im not a fan of swingout bars, and not sure if you can have them on 8.5 cert cars
That is one great looking ride. I look forward to seeing this one to the end. I do plan on working on a CAD Drawing of it, as I plan to work on a Cage in mine this winter. For some reason, I work much better when I have overthought what I am doing. I am not 100% sure I could get in your car with the bar where it is in the door, but it looks to me like the homework was really done on this one.
