A few Problems..
Just finished getting my '88 back together from doing a few things-just installed a walbro 255 fuel pump(gonna need it for when I put my supercharger on) as well as painting both valve covers and using rubberized coating on wheel wells and under the hood. So I go to start her up when right away I see smoke coming off of what looked to be the valve covers-could this mean the gasket(felpro) isnt seated right? I shut it off right away and heard a steady *tick *tick sound coming from somewhere in the engine though it stopped after a few seconds. Also just changed the power steering pulley and the hose that goes from the pump to the resevior and the hose is touching the ps pulley. How close should it be? Can anyone post pics off the power steering area so I can see how the hose should be?
