I finally finnished re-sealing the 6speed in the 84 and back in the car. I got a new clutch line and put that in too. We bled the line for a few hours trying all different ways including what the shop manual says, and I still dont have good pressure.
I replaced the Clutch mater and slave cylinder a few years ago and neither are leaking and the clutch worked fine when I pulled the trans out.
We got good pressure at the end but after I washed my hand and came back out, most of the pressure was gone. It is moving the piston, but not far enough.
It has weak pressure at the top, and more pressure at the bottom, but not enough to fully engage the clutch.
I am mostly just venting because I really wanted to drive that car today, but wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas on what the heck the problem is.
