What about HAL, Monroe GP, Edelbrock, or Koni? I don't like the rough ride i have now with factory Bilsteins. Do I need new shocks. The car plows through bumps instead of absorbing them. I have never been in a car that sounds like it is going to fall apart when you hit your average bump in the road. Weird how a $18000 Acura Integra will take a bump significantly better than the Vette. If I had race caliber handling I could understand it, but of course I don't. :U
Do they make a shock that allows the Corvette to take a bump like a normal sports car? If I could keep this rough ride, but have great handling, that would be fine! :nopity :smash:
I have a non fx3 '89. When I first got it a few years ago it would HOP over bumps. So Bad that I didnt want to drive it. I replaced the tires and that stoped it some. I almost thought thats how it was supposed to drive. Then I notice 1 shock had either light oil residue or dirt on it. I replaced all 4 shocks with Bilstein z51's. No more HOP no more plowing over bumps. It rode better then a new caddy. So all in all I would recomend new bilsteins.
