What's the different between LT1 and LT4 engine?
What is the stock LT4 engine dyno.?
Is it true that GM under rate the engine at 330Hp?

the LT4 has a higher redline... different intake, cam and heads... among other things... the LT4 people can, I am sure, fill in the gaps...
and yes, they did underrate them! It is figured that the LT4 is closer to 350-360... and they did'nt want to loose rated power when the new LS1 came out...

Yes its true that GM underrates their LT4. My 96 CE is stock except for K&n and 160 stat. I had it dynoed and rwhp was 308 and tq was 317. That calculates to be 366 at the flywheel. Roughly 36 more horses than what GM claims.
