1985 Cooling Fan Question ?
Took my 85 for a ride. The fan worked properly, thermostat did its job, every thing was fine.
Got home and the car was cool enough that the fan did not need to be on so i let it idle to reach a higher temperature.
The fan kicked on, to verify my suspicion I shut the car off and the fan shut off as well.
Should my fan stay on while the car is off until it reaches proper temp ?

No, ignition power is required for the relay coil.

Having the fan stay on wouldn't do much as the coolant is not circulating.
