Overheating Help
I have a 84 with a some what new enging 3 years old 6k on it. Since the new engine was installed the temp gauge never went over 195-200 I have a 180 powerstat installed. Out of the blue I am driving down the road and the temp climbs to over 250. The fan was running and everyting else seemed ok. I changed the thermostat thinking it was stuck closed and that seemed to work for one drive then the temp climed again not so high but it will go up to 240 then suddenly go down. Any help please
