Finally installed the Corsa cat back system last night on my '91 and took off those nasty Flowmasters. Old system out and new one in in less than one 6 pack, er, ummm...I mean one hour! What a piece of cake! I can finally hear my radio again! It looks great, sounds great, and best of all ...NO MORE DRONE!!!
Welcome to the Corsa cult. Replaced my Flowmasters a month ago, what a difference. Wife said she wouldn't take the drive to Carlisle anymore unless I fixed the drone...well Corsa fixed it. Sorry I didn't do it years ago. Congrats on your conversion.
Borla mufflers look and sound really cool but they do the same drone thing....but I have a very powerful stereo so its OK. If I had to do it again I too would join the Corsa Cult.
I was blown away by how easy the whole process was. I sprayed some PB Blaster on all the hardware the day before and like I said...out and in within an hour! I love it! I was going to say that finally, something went according to plans and actually exceeded my expectations, but that would be the kiss of death...so I won't!
I spent over $1000 trying three different exhaust systems before I finally got smart and had the Corsa's installed. After clamping the exhaust system together, I had a muffler shop weld all the joints for a cleaner look.
