Sorry for a little OT, but question for Zix.
How high does your engine rev?
Since your peak HP is on 6800, I would say you can rev it to 7500
with ease!? Is hydraulic valvetrain holding on that kind of rpm's?
It spins to red-line FAST, the light-weight valve train and aluminum flywheel really contribute to that. Yes, the engine can rev to over 6800 and still make power, but that's what I had the rev limiter set to at the time...the engine was still pretty fresh at that point. I'm waiting to install some shaft rockers before I really start pushing it past the 7K mark repeatedly.
The valve train is holding very solid as of right now...well, except for the Ti spring retainer I snapped a couple months ago. I swapped all the springs and retainers at that point.
+1 to mahle powerpack for best streetable/race piston. these things are just cool. you can run the piston to wall a variety of ways depending on your app & you can't beat the price to benefit of them.
LT1 block stroked to 383, LT4 heads fully ported and matched, 1.6RR, unknown cam, 52mm TB, Vortech supercharger (S-trim) running 12psi, and alcohol injection. 480rwhp 460 rwtq (430 tq available from 1800 rpm). Was dyno'd very rich with a lot of spark taken out, probably another 20 or 30rwhp in there.
I guess since other power adders have posted, I shall add mine as well.
Factory L98 block with splayed caps, lots of trick stuff, Callais, Oliver, JE custom, 9.4:1 SCR, AFR 210CPs (a lot of extra work), SR 248/254 0.67X lift, C4SP, MB, D1R on xxOH
My 408 delivered 481WHP in NA form and 824WHP/758WTQ at 10.5 psi on a Mustang dyno.

It made 392/371 on the 10th pull... motor was boiling so its around 400whp+ once cooled down. Torque i bet is 380's when cool
11 to 1 383
Stealth ram mildly ported and matched up to AFR 195cc Eliminators
Custom 230/245 .603/.613 109lsa cam (nitrous friendly for sure)
Hooker longtubes, single 4inch custom exhaust
basically thats all you need to know. Thru an auto 700r4 with 3600 stall. locked up on the runs

Something doesn't add up.
I'm trying not to get hung up on numbers (Track times are all that matters) but reading other peoples results with similar mods I can't help it.
