Fuel Filter Change....Sheesh!
So I read in the 101 projects for your C4 book that changing the fuel filter was easy. Ya right. In
my 96 LT4 I couldn't even get to it let alone remove it. It was right above the Cat (nice thinking
GM. I guess if I have a leak the whole car will go up) Anyway after dropping the whole fuel line
as the FSM stated I got it changed out. However in my fight I ended up bending the fuel line that
comes up by the coolant reservoir and braking the clip that bolts to the reservoir and holds the
fuel line. Does anybody know where I can get this clip? I can't seem to find one on
Corvettecentral, Midamerica, or Ecklers

It wasn't that hard to get to on my LT-1. It's on the passenger side frame rail.

That's how I did mine in my 96, the funny thing is that changing the filter on my 91 is a walk in the park. Not a big deal at all, but that 96!.......OMG!

Get a set of long tube headers!
Makes access easy by removing the stock CAT location. Easier the pulling the engine!
