I am in the process of installing my Heddman Elites on my 88. I am getting some interference/rubbing from the front tube passenger side onto the A arm pivot point. The only way I see to make this fit is to dimple where the interference is. This sucks, because if i do this i'm sure its gonna crack my ceramic coating. If its not one thing its another!!!! Has anyone else using Heddman elites seen this problem?

This contact point was a primary problem with the Tri-Y's (recent thread).
Two things can affect if yours hit while other's don't: 1) If your motor mounts are sagging and/or 2) if your alignment has less shims on the top than the average car.
Another that I can think of is variance in manufacturing.
I wouldn't want to dimple either. But, the hedman's are reasonably inexpensive. Denting something that costs less, hurts less!
If you do dent, paint with header paint where compromised.
