Well I basically rebuilt the suspenion a few months ago, then the engine right after.
I forgot about the QA1's last settings. So today I decided to check them out as I just put over a 100 miles on the engine and suspension.
Well, my QA1's have about 16 settings up front. I must have a special set of them. I know they are supposed to be 12 settings, but they keot on turning to 16. The rears did 13. Interesting.
I have to look at the dial and see if the little screw unseated and backed out. But it doesn concern me as to why these shocks did this.
I know they arent Bilsteins/Penskes etc etc, but for the price they shouldnt do this.
Has anyone else had problems with theirs?
I have a set that I bought used from a Forum member 3mo ago that has 15-16 settings. I have them set on 7 and they work good almost to good, thinking of turning them down 1-2 knotches.
I recall the directions saying to not turn more than 3 clicks past the 12th position.
I am a sailor, they need to stop at 12
I will back them up to 1 and move forward. I havent driven them like this, as 7/8 was where they were set originally if I remember correctly.

Just got QA1 my directions out so here is what it says, verbatim;
" QA1 shocks have 12 dampening positions. There are 4 clicks per revolution of the ****, The **** has 3 complete revolutions, The **** set fully counter clockwise is the softest setting-start your adjusting from that point. Do not adjust pass the 12th click, or 3-revolutions from the softest setting.
NOTE: Do not force the adjuster ****, Do not use pliers or other tools on the adjuster ****. Do not exceed 12 clicks under any circumstances. This could damage the idler pin and cause the shock not to adjust, this will avoid all warranties. "
