I recently bought a 58mm TB at Corvettes at Carlisle. It's used and the box it came in says Professional Products but the guy said it's a Arizona Speed and Marine TB. It has the top plate on it that says AS&M but is there anyway to tell if it's not a AS&M TB? THANKS FOR ANY HELP Pipe almost forgot where can I buy a 58mm gasket for behind the TB?
I built a killer 383 all forged internals brodix track 1 heads fully ported mini ram the works This throttle body looked brand new. The guy wanted $250 I paid him $225 It's a sweet lookin throttle body with the airfoil allready machined into it with no play in the bearing. I'll try to get a pic of it. Pipe

I should have a gasket or two for a 58 laying around here if you can't find one locally or someone wants to charge you an arm and a leg for something that simple, just let me know!
I've got their 58mm TB as well, it has an aluminum plate on top with AS&M fully spelled out on top, and the body is a solid piece of cnc'ed billet aluminum.
Here's a few pictures of my Professional Products 58mm TB, maybe that'll help.
The throttle cable connections on the PP Throttle bodies that I have, both have gold tone steel units. I think the ASM unit has a more fancier piece for the cable connection.
Your profile shows you have a '90, and I'm thinking you may not have ASR, or maybe not the same exact setup I have, so I didn't bring up the ASR issue I have with it.
The ASR does not have enough travel for fully open to fully closed with the AS&M unit.
I spoke to them over this, sent mine back in, and they retro-fitted the cam shaped piece from a GM TB (that was the same as my stock TB), but I still have the same issue. The ASR cable has been adjusted, it will either not close fully, or will not open fully, depending on how you set the cable. I've been avoiding dealing with it by busying myself with break-in/tuning/exhaust leak issues, but I am still going to have to address this somehow. The TPS sensor shows it going from 0%-100% though. but the blade was not fully level at the WOT the cable would allow. Maybe I'm really getting all of it, it just doesn't seem to me it would be ideal like that.

Black harley man thank you for the offer I just may need that gasket. I'll gladly pay you for it. I just looked at the TB again and the side that the cables hook to has a black composite piece bolted to the shaft and the other stuff looks like stainless steel. Pipe
F1 fan the 90 is kinda stock with minor bolt on stuff running 13.23 @104 mph. But i'm going to leave that car alone and put the 383 in a 88 Vette I recently bought. The 90 is too nice a car to be hotroddin with. Pipe

I can relate, my engine is worth more than the car. I've thought about getting a dedicated C4 for track use and put my 396 in it, but then I'd just have to start another build on the replacment motor for my street car... And my personal finances and my wife won't allow that to happen again
