92 heater core - dash or engine compartment?

I've been reading the posts on C4 heater core replacement. While most discuss access fromt the dash, one mentioned that in '90 they were changed for removal from the engine compartment. Anyone know for sure on a '92?

I have a 92 and I can postively tell you to start digging in on the passenger side lower dash and you will eventually find it. Its not under the hood.

The 92 heater core is on the pass side under the dash. The two water/hose connections are on the firewall on the pass side under the hood.
