Ok this problem started a few months back and is now just getting to me. The FX3 system in the car works great in Tour and Sport but when put into Performance it throws the "Service Ride Select" light with in half a mile. It will not throw the code in the other 2 settings. I have removed all four actuators and made sure that they cycle properly and they do. The shocks do not have any binding and the gear at the top turns easily through the entire range of motion. The suspension is modified a bit with poly bushings, Guldstrand links, custom shock valving, and coil overs. It has been running this set up for quite a while without any issues; so I doubt it would be any of this but you never know... I am going nuts chasing this problem does anyone have any thoughts?

Perhaps it is just the switch.
Have you pulled the switch to see if it is operating correctly (based on the electrical diagrams in the FSM)?
This is what happened to our 94. I was doing some dash work (radio/dash lights), and must have leaned on the switch for the lumbar support and guess it made contact too long and burned-out two of the circuit board metal strips, but after a little bit of solder, all fixed.
