I have a vacuum line that comes off what looks like the bottom of the ASR and heads toward the back of the alternator. It is a hard plastic hose and the end looks broken, but I don't see anything it would attach to. I didn't find any reference to it in the FSM. Does anyone know where it should attach?
Is your cruise control operational?
Vacuum originates from the intake manifold. You can trace from that starting point.
Sorry for such a general non-specific answer, but it will get you into the right path.

It is in my signature. 1993 LT1.
I looked into it a little more last night and it is not part of the ASR system, it is part of the AIR system. The FSM mentions the vacuum line but there is no diagram of where the line is routed. The AIR system is only active until the engine goes into closed loop, which is probably why I haven't noticed any issues. I'm more concerned that I may have a vacuum leak where it is supposed to connect to the vacuum source.
I just broke mine. It's kind of rigid plastic line and it runs under the fuel rail cover on the drivers side. What is it called so I can order a replacement? Any suggestions of a place to order?
93 LT1
Thanks,
Steve
