I finally got the dyno results from my 383, built this year by Paul Thompson, SloRVette. This is from the initial tune, and there's some knock retard going on on this pull, so probably we can get a few more ponies out of the build if we do some more tuning.
The baseline (in red) was made many years ago when the car was a stock LT1, and it pulled 255 RWHP and 290 RWTQ. After the build (shown in blue), it pulls 395 RWHP and 356 RWTQ. Amazingly, the horsepower was still strongly increasing when I got out of it, not wanting to toast the engine. Another half second in the pull and I would easily have reached 400 RWHP.

Thanks. It's all about the tires. I use Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials and give 'em a good burnout. Without enough burnout, I get wheelspin and short times in the 1.7 - 1.8 range. With a good burnout, I consistently get short times in the 1.5 - 1.6 range.
I am guessing LE2 heads/cam since Lloyd posted and power output?
Makes about the same as mine, except I have a 6 speed 350 and no cats with my LE2.
No, it has ported LT1 heads and a custom cam from Ed Curtis at FlowTech Inductions. The head intake flow was measured at 272 CFM at 0.55" lift and exhaust flow of 187 CFM. the car is a daily driver and passed Massachusetts inspection in June.
