MSD use to sell a unit that allows the driver of a C4 to control the ignition from the dash board. It has an adjustment range of 15 degrees of ignition timing.
I believe the part # was 8681. It costs $91.00 through PAW. I've learned MSD discontinued the item, but I emailed them and got a response that there are stil four remaining; 3 now that I ordered mine.
Does anyone have any experience with this unit.
Using one may keep me from having to have my PROM reburned to take out some of the timing.
Jake I'm using the MSD 6BTM which has the control for the dash, my car is supercharged so itwill retard upto 3 degrees per pound of boost up to 15 degrees... It runns off my vacuum / boost on themanfold so I doubt it would do you any good. They do still havetiming control modules but they aren't legal for emission vehicles as well as the digital 7 programmable that you can program your timing curve across the band. http://www.msdignition.com/
hope this helps, I would venture to say that a prom reprogram would be cheaper than the ignition boxes...

I checked on this and they are legal for sale and installation on emission controlled vehicles in all states, even in California. Unit has a Carb Executive Order D-40-28.
They work well, I used one on my old car with a NOS kit. It was a life saver for those sneeky times I used the NOS on the street, just dial it down and go. I still have it in my tool box collecting dust. I wish I knew you needed one.

Yea, I wish I knew you had one for sale too; could have saved me some $.
