That would definatly cause enough air to enter the engine and there is no way to stop it. I think you have to take it apart to find out since we plugged every vac line and the injectors are seated properly.
have fun!

I have read this and wanted to say Kudos to FIC! wow what great customer service. Talk about above and beyond. I am buying my injectors no later than november and have no doubt where i am getting them!

I really don't look forward to this. Those big runners are a pain in the rear end to work around. At this point, I would actually not recommend larger runners to someone asking.
SLP used to make a torx socket that had a really long end for installing larger runners.

BTW I know who I'm going straight to if I ever need injectors-answering email from a borrowed laptop at a party on Friday night = priceless

This is the attitude and commitment America was built on-too bad it is not common practice today

Found the culprit tonight. BROKEN RUNNER! When we were torquing it down we heard a pop and it was the driver side runner (front bolt area). The SOB broke! When we tore it back down it literally fell off. To boot, we had done a smoke test looking for the vacuum leak and basically the whole bottom sections of both sides were leaking.

Now I'm down a runner and the choice is to stick with Edelbrock, go back stock, or move up to a miniram. Stock is the cheapest, but the extra HP is tempting.

Hopefully, better days ahead.
