Torque Convertor Lock Up-Manual Switch

Looking at Corvette Central catologue..there is a plug in harness with toggle switch to lock and unlock TC to stop up and down gear switching in town (p/n 534293). Initially it sounds okay I think(no knowledge on this) but what if you forget to engage lock up at cruise speeds...will there be any damage? Would like to try it but only if the advise from all is positive.

The T700 only has full flow to the cooler when in lockup mode so you risk overheating the trans if run without it for long periods.

I raise the mph for both low and high gear TCC lock in the memcal/tune.

Thanks !!!! It sounded too good to be true. They dont tell you the potential problems $$ that will arise. That was a disaster averted!!!
