what do i need?
The title basically says it all. I want to know what i need to create chips for my 88. It seems like the thing to do is find out and learn what to do so i won't be spending a fortune on chips for this thing. My car has the stock programming other than the hypertech chip. So guys, please inform me, lol.

Your setup requires a chip with 128 after it like 27C128. However, if you wish to not purchase the eraser and buy a AT29C256 EPROM (like a EEPROM), you can do that. Someone who uses the AT29C256 can tell you how to correctly fill the buffer. It is more convenient and will save you about $30 :yesnod:
