Default Seafoam!

I just seafoamed my 96 LT1 today. After watching some of the videos of other cars making a smoke screen, I decided to find an area away from everybody. I poured in the green juice through the PCV hose. After waiting for 15 minutes I put the vacuum line back on and fired her up. There was smoke, but not as much as I expected. I guess the engine was not that dirty inside. Then I drove around for a few miles. I noticed immediately that the engine ran much smoother than before. And the throttle response was also much faster.
I am impressed with Seafoam.

I seafoamed my '94 last week and there was a little smoke, but not the huge clouds like I have seen on you tube.

1/3 went in the gas tank, 1/3 in the oil and 1/3 in the intake.

The car sat for over a year and half. Runs better and the o2 trouble code went away after using it.

What is seafoam for exactly??? Just to clean everything or if you have a problem? Is it good to do every now and then?

Seafoam is a product which will clean the inside of your engine of carbon and other deposits. And when added to the fuel it will clean the entire system. Very good stuff. Link below.

If you wnat the smoke show then you need to run it through the intake. On the carbed cars it was easy i'm not sure how you would do this on a if car I guess through a vacuum line.

Default Seafoam as an ingredient for . . .

I live in Arizona. Went into Checker Auto Parts and couldn't find the Seafoam in its usual location. Asked a clerk who went in the back and brought out a can for me. When I asked why it wasn't on display anymore she replied the kids were using it to make some sort of drug concoction. Sicko's.

What? A Seafoam cocktail? Nothing goes down the hatch smoother than some Grey Goose and Seafoam on the rocks!! Seafoam has LSD effects?

When it goes thru the vacum line of the brake booster, it removes the carbon build up on top of the motor such as the lifters, pistons ect. Thru the crank case cleans where the oil is circulated, and thru the gas tank it cleans the injectors and lines. I use it myself and it did make the car run smoother. Very little smoke though. When I changed the oil, it was black. I did it in this order. I changed the oil and drove the car for about 50 miles. I poured sea foam in the crank case and thru the vacum hose. Let it sit for 15 minutes, revved it up and drove the car about 25 miles more in 3 days. I then rechanged the oil and that was when it was very dark. It sounds better to like the idle may have changed. More smoother and consistent. Be careful not to hydrolock the motor when adding it thru the vacum line though!

If you take the brake vacuum hose loose. Hold your finger over it, and have someone start the car. Quickly, stick the hose in the can of seafoam, it will suck it in and kill the motor. Let it set for 5min or so, hook hose back up, and start car. You will then get your smoke show!!
