These are the ones I was looking at, but everyone kind of pushed me toward Headman Elite Long Tubes instead of a mid length header... Part # 68487 Summit has them and they arnt much more expencive
I have these on my 91, wasn't too much a pain to install, just be prepaired for that #8 cylinder header bolt. Nice header, and great coated LT for the price!

I have these on my 96 LT-4, EXCELLENT LT-X header and I'm sure they would work well on the L-98's as well.
Now, with THAT being said, I'm happy with the VERY different set of headers on my cars, both are different. Both of these systems suite my needs for that particular setup.

Saying that LT's wont cuase you to loose power, just may reshape your power curve. And if I ever deside to do anything to the engine LT's would benifit me more. The mid length headers like the ones the guy on here originally said he wanted to get, people said they (being mids) are somewhat similar to stoke manifolds when comparting length.

2149's (the ones he linked) are long tube headers. Summit's description is wrong.

You know, spelling and punctuation are not difinitive signs of intelligence. You would be surprised to find out my IQ, and my eagerness to learn as much as I can about the sciences!

Packages come in all shapes and sizes...
Intelligence and knowledge are indeed two entirely different things. Use some of that intelligence and learn how to write coherently and without misspelled words. Right or wrong, that is how you will be judged.
I'm always amazed by someone who has nothing constructive to say but seems to believe that our day would not be complete without reading his or her criticism of another.

I answer a lot of peoples questions here. I ignore occasional misspelled words because we all do it. But when every other word is plumbered I have to say something. You are judged in this world by how you present yourself. In this day of text speak, the ability to construct a lucid and properly spelled sentence seems to be a lost art.
If he doesn't care, then I sure as hell don't either.
Haha, don't worry. I didn't take offence to it. I will admit I got carried away and was typing very fast while watching TV. I will proof read my posts from now on. But I still can't guarantee all my words will be spelled correctly... as sounding out hard words doesn't always work!

Actually, what he said was constructive. It's called constructive criticism.
Maybe the way things are said is as important as how they are said. It's all in the delivery.
