Key pellet question.
Will a bad key pellet turn a engine off?
Another words if your driving down the road & your engine just dies right there in the middle of the road, could it be the key pellet?
Im wondering whats going on with a friends 96 bonnivelle.Mabey ignition switch?

God no, you know how many law suits could result from a feature like that? Vats error shuts car down in the middle of the highway.. 20 car pile up. But yeah as said above it doesn't work like that, it would turn the security light on and not allow it to start the next time around.

Don't know for sure, but could be a bad/intermittent Fuel pump Relay!? Worth checking, and a new relay should not be too expensive. Cheers!

No - the pellet is nothing more than a resistor that is used by the vehicle to give the system the OK to start the car..
