I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it. I assume it is a big job to go from auto to six speed but I think I'm determined at this point. Can someone talk me out of it or at least tell me what is invlolved.
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum. Did anyone tell you about the Corvette Challenge at e-town yet?
I don't think the swap to the six speed is all that bad, especially since you have a non-computer controlled auto (that should simplify the wiring). Mechanically is a direct bolt-in. The only difficult part might be the transmission tunnel - the location and shape of the hole in the tunnel is different from the A4 to ZF6 cars. Maybe someone else who has done this can comment on what needs to be done to the tunnel.
