Tuesday I went to take my 383 SR out and it would not start. I tried and tried and finally when I gave it full throttle it started, but had to have it at 2K RPM in order to go. I smelled fuel also. Went to dinner and then parked it home. Left last night for a 200 mile trip for a show and to meet with my builder who was part of the show also. Thank GOD that I had the problem on Tuesday and that I was already going to go Friday. My builder said it could be several things, but I could not find out what. Well I made it there (my girlfriend and I stayed at his awesome pad and he along with his wife took the both of us out for dinner). We get home from dinner at his place and after 15 minutes he finds the problem - fuel regulator. It had 2 leaks in it. It was leaking bad at this point. He took my car into his shop at 5am today and luckily he had an extra. Case and point, when I parked it home Tuesday in my garage and went into my house, I fire could have started and I would have never known until it was too late. Also, a fire or explosion could have happened while I was driving. Before I arrived at his house there were no leaks on my garage floor. Lucky, I guess so
