Nice times Jesse. Does your Dad still have the Chevelle?
Yeah we still race it. It 60ft times are 1.33 and runs 9.6sec in 4200ft DA. Car has a LOT more in it with some new headers and at over 4000lbs with me driving it! The car lightened up with race seats and no bench seat and a few other very easy to do things would easily go bottom 9s.

When the car comes down you can barely feel it since its got so much forward momentum. At the 60ft mark based on a 1.31 60ft time online calculators that some pretty good racing circles use says its going almost 60mph at that point. So the forward distance being covered is at a greater rate than the downward drop.

That's awesome. My 67 is running low 10's. Best of 10.18 @ 131. The motor is getting a little tired I think. It's been running strong for about 3-4 yrs now. I'm thinking a little head work over the winter and I should break into the 9's easy. Have you seen the white 67 that won the world's fastest street car? Runs low 9's on pump gas, dot tires, full interior, full exhaust, and everything works (lights, windshield wipers, heat, etc) It wheelies on the back bumper! I saw it run at the Pinks All Out event at E-town. Makes us Chevelel owners proud!
