Default optispark

I have really learned alot from you guys in the short time I have been on the forum.Thanks for the information.Now for lesson number 269.The optispark doesn't like to get wet.And it is located under the waterpump.How do you clean your engine and engine compartment :confused:

Bunch of rags and some simple green.. followed by an occasional dusting every couple weeks.

Do a section at a time, I use Meguirs Vinyl&Rubber Protectant on the hoses and plastic with Meguirs Degreaser on the other bits. If the parts are really dirty it will take you a while, but it's worth it in the end. Then occassionally give it a good clean to get any new dirt off. DON'T use water or steam cleaning.

It is not easy getting them clean, but it makes keeping them clean easier ;). Simple green is your friend.
